Voices of Horror: An Interview With Matthew Warner

September 09, 2005 By Johnathon Williams

Now that Mark Justice and David Wilbanks have joined the Horror Reader team with Pod of Horror, our existing interview series (hosted by yours truly) has been rebranded Voices of Horror. My first guest under this new label is Matthew Warner, a rising star in the genre. Warner's first novel, The Organ Donor, was published in 2003 and quickly recognized as a notable novel in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. His newest book is Death Sentences: Tales of Punishment and Revenge, a collection of short stories released last month from Undaunted Press. We spoke about the writing of the collection and the development of his career to date. Click below to listen.
